Free Baseball Fundraising Letter

If you’re in charge of your child’s little league team fundraiser and you don’t know where to begin, a fundraising letteryouth baseball player at bat to local businesses, parents, friends, and families may be the way to start to raise money. When writing a letter like this, remember to include all of the necessary contact information and a compelling reason for people to donate money. Here is a sample free baseball fundraising letter that you can use to craft your own:

Dear Friends and Family,

I am writing this letter on behalf of the Mountain Lions Houston Baseball Team. Moore Smith Middle School is one of the newest schools in the greater Houston area and we are trying to get community participation to get this program up and running. As you may be aware, there are so many expenses involved in launching a baseball team and a limited number of resources which has made creating this baseball team a real challenge.

We believe that students deserve a chance to learn valuable skills like sportsmanship, team decision making skills, and of course they benefit from the physical exercise that baseball affords. We’d like these kids to succeed and of course need support from the local community to help do this. We emphasize good sportsmanship, a kind and generous attitude from players and impeccable academics. We’d like to request that you become a Men’s Organization baseball sponsor for the Mountain Lions Baseball Team.

As a Men’s Organization sponsor, your business will be highlighted in our weekly newsletter and email newsletter, and you will get a permanent badge on our website. Also, you will be highlighted during our baseball games. Your generous donation will help support local youths and will be a positive reflection on the community.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please fill out the enclosed form and keep in mind that your donation is fully tax deductible. Thank you for your consideration and please don’t hesitate to contact me with questions.
