Dear Friend,

I represent XYZ Charity which works with local church organizations in the area to deliver hot meals once a day to elderly citizens that are in need and live in the local community. This is a critical service that many people depend on and we help more than 300 senior citizens in the greater Houston area every year.
We are starting our annual donation drive in September and would love to invite you to be a part of our organization now. This month, our goal is to raise $3000 which will help us provide meals for 100 adults in the next several months. In addition to feeding senior citizens, we also provide them with home visits from healthcare professionals, counselors, and social counselors who can offer lonely elderly people company and social visits.

We have enclosed a donation envelope that includes several options for donation money. Please keep in mind that your donations are fully tax-deductible and you will get a mention in our weekly newsletter as a thank you for your participation. We are also currently recruiting volunteers who want to become a greater part of our charity and you can help in a number of ways.

We would welcome your involvement and donations to enable us to continue to do our work that impacts so many lives. In addition to the donation envelope, you will see an enclosed flyer with testimonials from some of the lives that XYZ Charity has touched. Please visit our website to learn more about us.

Sincerely,
